I’ve started this blog with the objective of learning more about the various grazing techniques that other cattle producers have found successful. We have been using an intensively managed rotational grazing scheme for the past three years. Already, there have been remarkable improvements in the health of both our cattle and pastures. We have also seen a great decline in our hay usage. Last winter, for example, we fed hay for only 30 days. Our goal is to get to the point where we don’t have to rely on hay at all, to go hayless, so to speak. I would really like to hear about your grazing success stories. I know I can always learn more.
